Simotas Foods History:
Established over 30 years ago by Jerry Simotas, Simotas began as a small dairy distribution company. Initially it was a partner distributor to Bulla Dairy Foods, servicing the Cheese Cake Shop franchise. The business grew organically due to the superior service and the sourcing of products of renowned quality. With years of steady growth under its belt, in the early 2000’s the Zerefos brothers, Bill & Jim assumed control of the business. With a revitalised look at Simotas, the Zerefos brothers took the business from strength to strength until 2014. Simotas, true to tradition, has now been taken over by another Greek Family. Sticking to a family ethos, the four siblings who came from diverse backgrounds in Transport/Logistics, Warehousing and Agriculture decided to combine their skills and knowledge to take on a new challenge that was Simotas.
The revitalised face, along with a dedicated team of staff have sought to grow Simotas and ensure that a brilliant company with brilliant service and products will continue and constantly be improved. They look to maintain this by ensuring customers are satisfied in being supplied by Sydney’s best and most comprehensive independent dairy distributor.

Simotas is a small, family orientated team who are always focused on supplying the customer with the best service. Consisting of the awesome four Ben, Steve, Maria and Chris; who are supported by dedicated office and warehouse staff Paul, Paz, Andy and Jackie and are in turn are always backed up by friendly drivers. From this Simotas endeavours to service the customers from that first phone call to last delivery.
